Top 5 Adam Sandler's Comedy Movies
69Hi there friends. The first movie that I ever watched of Adam Sandler was The Waterboy and since then, he became one of my favorite comedy actors.
Here is the list of my personal top 5 Adam Sandler’s movies; I hope that you also enjoyed them as much as I did:
5. Anger Management
I liked this movie because it had some really funny ways to manage your anger. Adam Sandler plays the role of a businessman who has a huge temper and can’t control himself. He is sentenced for an anger management program where he meets with an aggressive instructor.
This is where things start to get out of hands. The instructor believes that the best way to manage your anger is to let it out. Sandler meets his students and learns that they are all crazy.
In the end, Sandler just gives up being angry because the instructor takes him to every place where the cause of his insecurity started and wants him to get extra angry and let everything out.
Ironically, this thing works and Sandler returns as a happy man!
4. The Longest Yard
Sandler plays the role of Paul Crewe who has trouble getting along with other folks. He also holds an infamous face from his early days in football.
One thing leads to another and he is sent to prison for some time. He learns that football is a big deal in prison as well and prisoners get to take on the guards.
He forms a team by selecting the toughest prisoners and challenges the guards. In the course of his jail time, he makes a lot of friends and learns that prisoners can be great friends too.
The movie has some other great stars too, like Nelly, Bill Goldberg, Dalip Singh, etc.
This movie looks like a powerhouse and it has some great moments too.
3. You don’t mess with Zohan
Sandler plays the role of an Israeli Special forces soldier (Zohan), who is sick of wars and killing people.
He fakes his death so that he can start a new life in New York. His dream is to become a hair stylist. When he tells it to his parents, they make fun of him. So, he leaves quietly, only to discover that the world he wanted to lose, comes back right towards him.
The movie features Zohan as a super human kind of guy. He can catch a bullet with his nose; can kill an interrogator with his already cut hand and drink a cola afterwards, etc.
The movie is really funny too otherwise it wouldn’t be on my list.
2. I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry
Sandler plays the role of Chuck Levine who is pretty rich, considering he works as a firefighter.
This movie is so funny that you won’t find a single moment where it doesn’t tickle your heart.
The movie also has Kevin James (one of my favorite comedy actors) and they make a great comedy duo. In this case, however, they make a great couple!
Kevin James plays the role of Larry Valentine who wants to secure the future of his children. His wife died a year ago and he couldn’t file the nomination papers and that is why he convinces Chuck to marry him, so that he can make Chuck the nominee in case he dies while fighting fire.
Things don’t go as smoothly as they planned. The way to being married to same gender requires few formalities to be complete and that is when the true comedy of life starts.
As I said that Sandler and James make a great duo in this movie. You must watch if you haven’t already.
1. Grown Ups
Sandler plays the role of Lenny Feder.
This movie is without a doubt the funniest movie of Adam Sandler I have seen till now.
First of all this movie has Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Steve Buscemi, etc.
There is no need to tell you further about the story because these are the master of comedy movies.
But I will tell you anyway. Grown Ups is about 5 friends who come together to celebrate 4th of July Holiday weekend together after they learn that their school time coach had died.
They spend an amazing time together and in that course of time, they learn many new things.

Ok i kind of agree with every movie except for grown ups. As far as i am concerned they simply packed comedians in that movie with no plot attached to it what so ever

Excellent hub.
I love some of Sandler's movies. I especially enjoyed "Grown Ups" very much.
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I enjoyed "Bucky Larson," even if many people and critics did not...
