Tattoo Sleeves Ideas

Tattoo sleeves are a way to enjoy safely the charm of a tattoo and show off what design you like on your arms. It looks pretty cool if you choose the right design and with a better material (which can cost you few extra bucks) you will not have those general problems related to sleeves due to cheap materials.

These come in three forms because of how they are made. Those categories are Full arm, Half Arm and Quarter Arm tattoo.

Full Arm Tattoo

It is applied on your whole arm, from shoulder blade to your wrist. The great thing about opting for Tattoo Sleeve is the painless way of applying it and changing it whenever you wish. However, bear in mind that they don’t look as attractive and sturdy as real Full Arm Tattoos look.

Even then, where original ones last forever (can be removed by laser surgery, which is extremely painful by the way), sleeves can be removed once you are done with the fashion.

Half – Arm Tattoo

It goes from your shoulder blade to your elbow (not wrist to elbow). Rest is the same, the procedure for applying original tattoos, the pain and surgically removing them. Also, for sleeves it is just the same again.

Quarter-Arm Tattoo

It goes from your elbow to your wrist and thus, we cover the whole arm. So there is absolutely no point in getting a Quarter Arm and a Half Arm tattoo on the same hand or it will look like a Full Arm Tattoo! Not too bright folks, not the least bit bright!

I would like to give a great and funny example of tattoo sleeves. I seriously believe that you are familiar with The Big Bang Theory TV series. In Season 3 Episode 3, The Gothowitz Deviation, Raj and Howard got themselves a pair of Full-Arm tattoo sleeves to pick up girls at a Goth Club. That was one of the funniest episodes in Season 3.

So, apart from that, people are also going for tattoo sleeves because you can just apply them and when you done with the party, you can throw them like old socks and they come really cheap too.

Some of the downsides of Tattoo Sleeves are:

a. Since they are like cloth, your skin will irritate after a short amount of usage.

b. Since the sweat has no space to pass, it will result in bad odour.

c. Elbow strain is a common problem with a Full Arm tattoo, if you wear them for long hours and work as well.
