- Without a second thought, apply for Google Adsense if you haven’t done already. Adsense is the big daddy of Blog Monetization techniques if you don’t want to waste your time in approaching advertisers etc.
- Just put Adsense code (after getting approved) and focus on writing that you already do.
- Sign up for some article revenue sharing websites, which pay with Adsense and PayPal. All you need to do is create some sister articles and put them there, with a link (hyperlink) pointing back at your article.
- Just put some snippet or summary of your main article, with a different video or image that is relevant with your sister article (so that it does not fall under spam publishing), and publish. What you did is leveraged the reputation of that article revenue site and gained some more visitors for your blog. Remember, whatever folks say, visitors (and quality visitors at that) must always be your first priority.
- Sign-up for Amazon and Ebay partner network (affiliate programs) and promote relevant product while you blog about your life. It should not be too hard. You don’t have to go crazy on this, just be a little more alert while you blog. If you are blogging about ‘chocolate pastries’, then you can put a JavaScript (available at Amazon and Ebay product selection) of the product ‘How to bake Chocolate Pastries?’ book or something that attracts your mind. If it attracts you then it will definitely attract other person, which is the beauty of blogging.
- If your visitors are loyal audience then they become a part of you.
- Sign-up for in-line ads like Infolinks, Kontera, etc. Though, they don’t give as much as Adsense, but they do add something extra to your online income.
- Don’t overdo anything and please don’t make blogging your 9 to 5 job. It is fun and beautiful, and enjoy it the way it is. Just a little alertness will let you make some fine dollars out of it.
- If you don’t want to do any of these and still want to make a little something, then signup for Paypal (online bank sort of thing) and generate a Donate code for your blog. Paste it in appropriate place where it won’t distract you or readers (and still be visible without scrolling down) and let your visitors show their appreciation for your work.
This is not all of it, but if you do just this, then you will be able to earn some nice extra income that people get form part-time job. For some real income and making a living out of blogging, you have to really get out of your shell and make the best out of Blog Monetization.

Hey Kksonakiya,
Great advice for new bloggers and hubbers out there. I like the idea of a PayPal donate feature, I'd never even considered that ... although I doubt I would get many donations lol ... still a good idea though.
