GTA 5 Plot Leaks and Updates

According to Rockstar Games, GTA 5 is going to be their most ambitious game ever created. They officially announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 is in full development and it is going to be a great experience from every perspective, i.e. open-world freedom, storytelling, gameplay, money, multiplayer etc.

This article is going to combine some tidbits about GTA 5 that I found on the internet (from different sources) and have some of my own words on the matter. So, it would be fare to say that this article is going to be updated with whatever news I hear about GTA V.

Plot Info

• There are several juicy rumors surrounding the plot of this sequel. Some are saying that our protagonist is going to be a cop who tries to be good but turns bad under the pressure of the city.
• Personally my take is a little different. I think that our protagonist is going to be a businessman who is willing to get his hands dirty for his work.
• He wants to reach at the top by whatever means possible.
• I could be wrong but until you learn some concrete plot info, keep your imaginations high.

Environment of the City

• Some confirmed elements of the city are:
  • Dogs.
  • Convertible cars.
  • Pleasure Pier.
  • Downtown Little Seoul.
  • ATM Machines (like GTA IV).
  • Planes are back and can be piloted.
  • Jet-skis.
  • Water surfing is a feeble probability.
  • It would be 6 times larger than GTA IV’s Liberty City.
  • Thus, it would become the largest city ever created in the history of Grand Theft Auto.
  • GTA 5 is not going to be a rehashed San Andreas. Only Los Santos, beaches, countryside and surrounding hills are included. Rest of the city is completely new and exciting.
  • Remodeled and retouched cars.
  • New horde of bikes and boats.
  • New military planes.
  • Cars can now be upgraded like NFS and GT series games.
  • Player (protagonist) will now be able to send messages from his mobile to friends, girlfriends and associates.
  • There are not going to be missions related to just hit and run (they will be though). The gameplay would include other elements in the missions this time. Players will feel that they are doing all the bad deeds because of the city. In short, in GTA 5, the city would matter.

• Unconfirmed/Rumored News and Updates

• Protagonist could be a woman.
• Protagonist could be a cop with a corrupt partner.
• Few guys from San Andreas could be back like Sweet, Cesar Vialpando, Kendl Johnson, etc. Mainly because they were a close link to Los Santos.
• The release date of GTA 5 may be pushed back.
