AMD Radeon HD 6970 is an Enthusiast performance graphics card and is not under mainstream segment. It is just below the latest graphics card from AMD, which is Radeon HD 6990. This would likely be the end of AMD’s 6XXX series and a new family of graphics card with Direct X 11.1 will be released by the end of 2011.

The games can be set to maximum with this card the frame rates are very satisfying. The gameplay achieved in the videos is because of several factors, like CPU, RAM, HD 6970 in crossfire, cooling and type of games. GTA IV has a wide history of being an unoptimized PC game that completely destroyed the hopes of several gamers who bought a new gaming pc just for this game and found that the game did not run flawlessly on maximum settings.

However, looking at this video, I can definitely say that all those patches by Rockstar have worked very well and the game is running flawless after HD 6970 gave it some necessary graphics power.

The video below wasn't recorded by Fraps or any other gameplay recording software. But I could not bypass it because it showed fluidity in the game and based on that, I figured that the game would look awesome because the settings are set to maximum.

There were many other gameplay videos for AMD Radeon HD 6990, but I had to skip them because like the last video, they too were recorded via low-quality video camera and I did not want to ruin the awesomeness of this card by introducing you to other low-level videos like the last one.
